Prince Harry & Duchess Meghan: Baby Lili Takes Her Place in the Line of Succession
It has already been puzzled as to when the palace will update the official list of succession to the throne. Now Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have reason to be happy.
Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on June 4th. Since then, royal followers worldwide have been waiting for the first photo of the daughter of Prince Harry (36) and Duchess Meghan (39, née Meghan Markle). But in this case, it still means: be patient!
In addition to a photo, attentive observers were also waiting for the succession to the throne to be updated on the palace’s official website. This wait is now over.
The site was updated a good seven weeks after Baby Lili’s birth. And the little one is now officially eighth in the British line of succession – behind Prince Charles (72), Prince William (39), Prince George (8), Princess Charlotte (6), Prince Louis (3), Papa Harry and her brother Archie (2).
It’s not uncommon for the page to take time to refresh. With Baby August, the son of Princess Eugenie (31), for example, it took two months until the little man could be found on the page after his birth in February.
