Germany Requires Corona Test for Travellers From Risk Areas
Travellers from corona risk areas must be tested for the lung virus on their return to Germany. This was announced by Minister Jens Spahn (Public Health).
With the move, the German government wants to prevent a new wave of infections.
Holidaymakers can have themselves voluntarily tested at airports for a few days upon return.
In the event of a negative result, travellers who were in risk countries do not have to stay in isolation for fourteen days.
Germany considers the United States, Turkey and Israel, among others, to be risky.
