Formula 1 is Suffering A Big Loss Due to Coronavirus Crisis

The yield of Formula 1 has plummeted as a result of the corona crisis. The owner of the most robust racing series, Liberty Media, has announced this.

In the second quarter to this year, a loss of 136 million dollars was incurred.

Due to the outburst of the new coronavirus, no race was held before July. After that, the season started in Austria, but so far no public has been allowed.

“At the minute we are emerging plans to allow fans again in phases,” said a statement from the Formula 1 organization.

Five races have now been held. The intention is to play between fifteen and eighteen matches this year.
