North Korea Fires Missiles During South Korea US Exercise

North Korea has fired two cruise missiles that landed in the Yellow Sea, west of the Korean peninsula. According to Yonhap news agency, the South Korean Ministry of Defense reported this on Wednesday. It is North Korea's first projectile test since South Korea and the United States began joint exercises on Tuesday. The exercises, which are through Friday, are just a preparation for larger annual joint maneuvers to be held under the name Ulchi Freedom Shield. They are from August 22 to September 1. North Korea has angrily called them a dress rehearsal for the invasion of the north.
