Pennsylvania Confirms Joe Biden as the Election Winner

The US state of Pennsylvania has confirmed that Trump rival Biden won the presidential election there.   This makes President Trump's position even weaker to do something about his election defeat. Pennsylvania is one of the states decisive for Biden's nationwide victory. Republican Trump's campaign team wanted to prevent Pennsylvania from proclaiming the Democratic challenger the winner. The Trump campaign argues that the president has not been given a chance to sue adequately against alleged electoral fraud by the Democrats. Trump, as yet without proof, claims that tens of thousands of defective letter votes were falsely counted to help Biden win.

President Trump and his Democratic challenger Joe Biden are in a neck-and-neck race in Nevada.

Twitter and Facebook Intervene in Trump’s Victory Claims

Facebook and Twitter have had to adhere to the measures they had specially announced for the US elections. The tech companies intervened in President Donald Trump's premature victory claims he made on both platforms.   "We are BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the election," Trump shared in a tweet that has since been shielded on Twitter. The message was also labelled as "potentially misleading" by Twitter in a disclaimer. The tech company has also limited the possibility for other users to share the tweet further. Twitter emphasizes in the disclaimer that "the platform is questioning some or all of the content" shared in the message. In addition, Twitter states that the message may share potentially misleading information about how Americans can participate in elections or other c...

Trump Nominated As President-Candidate Oon Day 1 of Republican Convention

Donald Trump has already announced that he will speak every day himself. Today, he already kicked off and blamed against postal voting, which he believes the Democrats will try to falsify the elections with.

USPS CEO Promises Timely and Secure Handling of Postal Votes

Louis DeJoy, the new CEO of the US Postal Service, has promised Senators of the Homeland Security Committee that the votes cast by mail in the US presidential election will be handled "meticulously and on time".   Partly due to the corona crisis, a record number of Americans are expected not to go to a polling station in November, but to send in the completed ballot paper. Democratic Congressmen, in particular, are concerned that the state postal company cannot handle the rapid processing. They accuse the Trump administration of trying to influence the election results through postal cuts. DeJoy said on Friday that is not the case. "On the way to election season, I want to assure the committee and the American public that the Postal Service is very capable and utterly committed t...
