British Police Find Penguin Waddling in the Street
Exceptional service for police officers in Nottinghamshire, UK. During their shift, they immediately ran into a penguin.
The officers were on patrol in Broxtowe, Nottinghamshire, when they suddenly saw a penguin waddling across the road yesterday morning.
It soon became ostensible that the animal had escaped from its enclosure on a farm and had already travelled 1.5 kilometres.
The officers gave the penguin the name Po-Po. “He posed for some pictures and was very friendly to our agents,” Chief of Police Gareth Philp told the BBC.
The police then returned the animal to its owner.
According to the BBC, two more stolen penguins were rescued by police in the same place last January. A 23-year-old man was then arrested for that.
