Boris Johnson Secretly Married to Carrie Symonds
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson (56) secretly married his girlfriend, Carrie Symonds (33) in Westminster Cathedral on Saturday. That writes, among others, the Mail on Sunday.
The marriage was solemnized by cleric Daniel Humphries, who also baptized the couple’s 1-year-old son last year, according to the news site.
Apart from a handful of church officials, the ceremony was attended by about thirty invited guests from the couple’s family and friends. They were not told where to go until the last minute.
The bride was dressed in a long white dress but without a veil. According to The Sun magazine, one of the guests said Johnson “couldn’t take his eyes off her”.
Johnson and Symonds, engaged since December 2019, were the first couple to live together unmarried at 10 Downing Street. It is the Prime Minister’s third marriage.
Previously, it was married to Allegra Mostyn-Owen and Marina Wheeler. With the latter, he had four children. Johnson also has an illegitimate daughter.
