Biden’s German Shepherd Back in White House After Biting Training
President Joe Biden’s German Shepherd Major is back in the White House after training, and he had to undergo two biting incidents.
The dog has also learned to deal with cats, according to First Lady Jill Biden.
It was the 1.5-year-old Major’s second training period since moving to the White House on January 20. The German Shepherd twice bit a Biden employee in the White House, neither of which were severe incidents.
Jill Biden assured in the interview with NBC News that Major is now well trained. “He’s such a sweet dog. He also did well with cats; that was part of his training.” The president and his wife would like to adopt a cat.
Biden has another dog, 13-year-old Champ. That’s a German Shepherd too. After the first biting incident, both dogs temporarily returned to Biden’s home state of Delaware.
