Biden Wants to Inject 200 Million Shots in the First 100 Days After Taking Office
President Joe Biden wants 200 million corona vaccines to be administered to Americans in the first 100 days of his term, doubling his original goal.
Biden will announce the target later on Thursday at a press conference, American journalists report.
The goal of 100 million inoculations was met just under a week ago, about two months after Biden’s inauguration. Currently, an average of about 2.5 million injections is taken per day.
To achieve the new goal, the pace has to be increased a bit.
Biden has many more ambitions. For example, the recovery plan to get the economy back on track must be implemented. There is still much to be done in testing and centres where this can be done.
